I started in Manila in 2000 troubleshooting ID card systems for Auto ID Philippines. What began as a technical support role became a 24-year apprenticeship in how Secure ID technology actually reaches governments, banks, and enterprises across Southeast Asia — and why, most of the time, the technology is not the bottleneck.
The bottleneck is always the channel. The right distributor, the right government relationship, the right technical conversation at the right moment in the tender cycle. I've learned this in every market I've worked — and I've built my career around fixing it.
At ALL ID Asia and Matica Group, I built and managed the partner networks and enterprise accounts that converted European card personalisation technology into real revenue across Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia, and Thailand. I've run the complete cycle: prospecting, technical pre-sales, government tender submission, contract negotiation, and post-deployment support.
The result: $5M+ in regional revenue contributed, 40+ active channel partners across SEA, and a pipeline of government and enterprise relationships that took two decades to build.
